John Liebeskind's last graduate student. Still a close friend and continuing collaborator, Wendy was co-discoverer of the female-specific analgesic mechanism in 1993.  Wendy has the greatest life in the world, living exactly 100 yards from her office, with a daycare centre halfway in-between.  The Sternberg Laboratory at Haverford College is currently studying the effects of neonatal surgical pain on adult pain sensitivity.
